ABOUT TANIA

Tania Farah is a photographer and student based in New York and Mexico City. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Mexico’s capital, Tania has always been drawn to culture. She was captivated by the ways in which both Dominicans and Mexicans savor their roots, adoring their food, music, dance, and art. Growing up around such passionate people sparked a fire in her, one that has been burning ever since: an admiration for the arts. She believes art is the basis for human enjoyment, and that one cannot simply exist without its presence [in any of its shapes or forms]. It’s an omnipresent force that drives the soul into creating something tangible; it’s that which creates passion, in whatever way that may be, and it’s what makes the journey of life worth living.

Tania is currently majoring in Strategic Design and Management and minoring in Museum Curatorial Studies at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
